Tashkent State Technical University
The project Coordination Meeting "PROMENG" was held on Monday, the 30th March, 2011 in Tashkent, according to the working plan. The meeting was hosted by the Tashkent State Technical University, the Consortium partner institution.
The meeting was attended by institutional representatives from Uzbekistan, Germany and Belgium. The coordination meeting was supported by the representative of the National TEMPUS Office in Uzbekistan. The list of participants is attached below:

During the coordination meeting the participants discussed and received full coverage concerning the analysis of existing Curricula in the partner universities, the readiness of the universities for renewal of the existing Curricula, development and implementation/introduction of new Modules and Engineering MA Programme Courses.
With regard to the suggestion for more intense cooperation of the Universities with the Chamber of Commerce and Trade in the Republic of Uzbekistan, it was highlighted that this aspect would help the specialists in fulfilling the requirements and demands of the employees.
Moreover, it was encouraged to cooperate on networking as well as through regional and international networks in fields of HEI and scientific research.
